Lacey + Colin {engaged}

I have so many great couples to photograph this year and Lacey and Colin are definitely one of them. Lacey starts the shoot with telling me how she is no good at serious photos which makes sense because she is so giddy and cheerful. However, I think some of the best photos are their serious ones! These two must just sit around doing nothing but laughing; keep it up and you will have a very happy life together. Normally I am the one with the silly ideas for photos but Lacey was beating me to. She wanted to sit on the chickens and then they even pretended they were racing. We also found this life size plastic horse that Lacey rode as Colin gave it a drink. Photographing these two was like watching a play unfold right before my eyes. Thanks Lacey and Colin for all the laughs I look forward to your wedding in the fall.

Erin,

You’ve done an outstanding job! Lacey was on her way home from work today when she asked me if the pictures were on the blog yet - we had both been checking on an hourly basis throughout the day J. When she found out the pics were up, she raced home (though she claims only 10 mph over the speed limit).

We’re both very excited about the photos – you made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, and we had a lot of fun. You did a great job picking a location that matched our personality, and we hope you had as much fun as we did.

We look forward to having you at our wedding in October. And, if we happen to win the lottery between now and October 18th, we’d love to have you photograph our honeymoon in Paris!
