{enjoy} happy birthday + new blog

We love having our birthday's so close together. This year while we were celebrating together we decided to start a blog. In the past we have done some fun side projects together that we have posted here on the {ejp} blog. We are going to keep that up and post them on our new blog Pearl Button everyday. My garden has not been touched this year... it looks horrible. I looked out my kitchen window the other day and there were two lovely poppies in the middle of the weeds! There weren't there last year, and I have no idea where they came from... but they are beautiful. Summer is officialy here! {photos and post by paige}

Ezra {cabinet dweller}

There is a hilarious blog called Hipster Puppies. People send in pictures of their too cool puppies and they give them snarky captions... I love it. Last summer I was pretty devastated when my husband and I lost our 8 1/2 year old English Bulldog. I got her at 18 years old and she went to college with me, moved across country {more than once} and even got married with me. We were'nt ready for another Bulldog right away, but my awesome husband gave me one for Valentine's day and we were finally able to bring him home last night. Ezra is the sweetest little puppy, and we are so excited to add him to our family. {paige}

Deb and Jade are my beautiful aunt and cousin. My Aunt Deb has had a vision of her in Jade in green down by the lake for years, and we finally took the time to do their shoot this weekend. Jade has been in front of my camera before {and she is a pro}! My mom was there in the background making crazy faces and cracking us up, but somehow we made it through with some serious shots. Thanks for letting me boss you around a bit. Love you guys!
