Sarah + Erik {engaged}

I had a great time with Sarah and Erik taking their engagement photographs. They both really enjoy London and Brit's Pub in downtown so we started there.Then we walked along Nicolet Avenue and went to the North Loop where they live.These two have been everywhere in the city. If I ever need to ask someone where a good place to eat is I know who to call. Congratulations Sarah and Erik; I know the wedding will be just as fun.

Time Off

~ see you next week...

Jenna + Adam {married}

Jenna and Adam had a very beautiful wedding at the Lafayette Club.
Every detail was perfect! Jenna made all of her initiations. Each one had 3 layers of ribbon and they were all silver; very classic and elegant.There were so many guys in this wedding. Here you are seeing the groomsmen which was only half of the guys. Adam just has to many friends; not a bad problem to have.Even though Adam saw Jenna before the wedding for photos it was still very sweet when he saw her walk down the isle.They had no problem filling a double decker bus with all their friends.These are two of my favorite ring shots. It might have to do with Jenna's spectacular ring.The best man had 100 of these hands made to celebrate the night.Congratulations Adam and Jenna; you had such a beautiful wedding! We were honored to be part of it.

Jenna wrote me this really nice email after seeing these photos on the blog. It really means so much to me that all of my clients are happy!

Erin,

After getting back from a nice relaxing honeymoon I was so pleasantly surprised to see that you had already posted some of our wedding pictures on your blog. They turned out just simply AMAZING to say the least!!

Your pictures made me feel more beautiful than I think I ever have in my life. By looking at them, I was immediately brought back to the wedding day and all of the emotions I was feeling. The pictures made the day that went so incredibly fast stand still a little. You have a great eye for capturing every detail!

I know you hear all the time that your work is wonderful (and it is!!) but I wanted to also let you know how important it is. You have the very significant role of capturing these giant milestones in people’s lives and preserving forever the memories that go along with them. I can’t explain how much of a gift your pictures are to us . . . we will treasure them forever. We hope we can work with you in the future and share even more milestones with you!

Thank you so much for an incredible job well done . . . we can’t wait to see the rest of the pictures!!

Take care, Jenna

Something new...

I have been wanting to try this for a while... I almost always do an "opposites attract" photo with my engagement and wedding couples. But I wanted to put a spin on it and create an image with multiple exposures...

Just had to try this!!!

I like how it turned out....

{kind words}

Here is a nice email from Molly and Zach after seeing her engagement photos:

Hi Erin!

We love our pictures that you put up on your blog! I am amazed every single time I see new pictures that you have taken. You are so talented and we are so thankful that we are able share this experience with you as you document it in pictures! I already have people at work asking me who you are; they are amazed by your work as well!!

Bonnie + Andy {engaged}

This was a perfect place to take Bonnie and Andy's engagement photos; at their friend's farm. The grandson of the farmer introduced these two and they even got engaged here on this farm by the river. I love this kind of setting for photos. I know the wedding will also be beautiful in the great outdoors on Wisconsin.

Also If you are looking for a florist or garden check out Bonnie's work Ruby Reds Floral.They had a little stick-sword fight.This one of Bonnie in the tracker wheel is my favorite.Bonnie emailed me this comment:

Hi Erin,

Where do I begin? The photos are AMAZING!!! The complements keep rolling in about your wonderful work. I can't wait to see the rest. I know the wedding pictures will be just as wonderful!

Thanks again for your amazing work.

Bonnie and Andy

Molly + Zach {engaged}

I am so blessed to meet so many wonderful couples and Molly and Zach are certainly no exception. These two knew each other back in high school and then reconnected years later as Zach wrote Molly good old fashion love letters. How could any women resist that! Their wedding is only a few weeks away so make sure to check back soon.
This photo cracks me up!
