My little girl has completed another year of preschool. I only have one more year until she goes off to kindergarten. Sara was going to City Montessori in Chanhassen. The party was done really well. The kids did some songs and then they got their metals. A clown came and then an ice cream truck. It was so much fun. We had some good laughs. Look how cute she is. She is a natural in front of the camera. Umm... I wonder why?
During Memorial Day weekend I took my camera up to my parent's cottage. I experimented with new lenses and techniques. Here are some examples of the fun I had!
Bearded Iris with 70-200 lens
Blade of grass with Lensbaby 2.0
Martin House with Lensbaby 2.0
Swallow with 70-200 lens
Swallow (in a bird house built by my Grandfather) with 70-200 lens
I have photographed Vision of Glory's confirmation photos for 3 years now. I was confirmed at this church so it always brings back good memories. I really enjoy watching the kids get prayed over. Here is their slideshow, enjoy.
The lighting and windows were so beautiful at St. Boniface Church were Heather and Joel got married. Again, I could not help myself with how many photos I picked for the blog. There were so many good ones.
This is Heather right before she saw Joel for the first time. Once they had the big reveal they couldn't keep their eyes off each other. After the ceremony we stopped at Baker Park . Before going to Medina Ballroom for the reception we stopped at some railroad tracks in Loretto.Another spectacular wedding! Thank you Heather and Joel for having us at your wedding.

The one by fifteen show was very successful! Thank you to all who came out! I talked so much that night that I lost my voice. There was lots of great food and drinks. Paul (my husband) DJed and did an outstanding job. We even sold a piece and met some great new people. You can also read the news press .
I am privileged to be in an art show with 15 other photographers at my studio. If you want a little more details check out the coop website, www.mplsphotocoop.com. It is May 18-20. It is going to be an awesome event with lots to eat and drink. I would love to see everyone and anyone there.
Deb and Jimm had their ceremony at Como conservatory. They hired Lynn Schoenstedt and I got to come along as a 2nd photographer. I always enjoy being an assistant. I like to see how other photographers work, plus there is no pressure. Anyways, congratulations Deb and Jimm, you had a beautiful wedding.
I still can't get over how amazing Laura and all the bridesmaids looked! Plus I just loved the umbrellas. I really enjoyed the colors she chose too. She got her flowers from Yuriko Floral. Laura and Brian had their ceremony at the lovely Wayzata Community Church. Which by the way has one of the best wedding coordinators (John Estrem) I have ever worked with. We went down to the depot in Wayzata for most of the portrait photos. After the ceremony we were off to the Edina Country Club for the reception. Everything about their wedding was ravishing! Laura is a friend of mine from high school so when I was done shooting I got to catch up with some old friends. Congratulations Laura and Brian and thanks again for letting me be part of your wedding day.
