{ The Fashion Project }

What a fantastic shoot!! I called it the "photographer's shoot-out", which consisted of 7 photographers and 5 models all held at my studio. I've photographed all of these lovely ladies at Traci's wedding. None of them have ever done any modeling, yet they did an outstanding job! Thank you so much girls for coming out and making our first shoot-out so successful! Like always I had a really hard time narrowing down my favorites so I have a long post again. I have also put a whole bunch of photos on my website under fashion project.Thank you again to everyone that came! I'm looking forward to the next "shoot-out".

{ Model Number 5 - Robb }

Thanks Robb for coming out with such late notice.We got a few really great shoots. Robb is one of Paul's friends. He owns a really cool business called Blown Concepts. Thanks again Robb!

Ardent Photography creates a blog!

I'm happy to announce the creation of my blog.

My hopes and wishes for this blog are to feature photos from recent sessions and to keep visitors up to date with all the new things I'm working on. I am excited to bring this feature to my website.

Thanks for visiting!

{ Awaiting Kia and Jason }

Doesn't she look ravishing! Kia is one of the best looking pregnant girls I've ever seen. I had the privilege of taking her and Jason's maternity photos. There were so many great shoots that I went a little over board picking photos for the blog. Well, I hope you all enjoy them as much as I do.
I use to work with Kia and Jason as servers at Zaroff's Deli in Minnetonka. We have seen each other quite a bit at all the different weddings that I have photographed and Kia has done their hair and makeup. She is excellent by the way, she does my hair too. She works at Hair in the City (952-473-0925).

{ Play Date at the Studio }

Tea parties, snacks, laughing to crying, fairies and wings, balloons, bellies, theater seats, twirling and dancing, baby dolls, dresses and lots and lots of smiles...

Not only did the kids have fun playing but us mom's had just as much fun! We got together with two of my photographer friends, Noemi (noemi photography) and Stacey (staja studios) and their daughters Lauren and Adriah. I am totally in love with all the photos I got. Plus this was the first time I got to shoot in my new studio. I can wait to shoot again next week. Sara got to wear her fair dress that she got for Easter. She was loving all the cameras pointing at her. I was loving all the different expressions and the exciting energy. If you check out my website in the children's galleries I put even more photos from this fun filled day.

{ Coloring Easter Eggs }

Happy Easter everyone! Easter is one of my favorite holidays because I really reflect on what Jesus did. We went to church for Good Friday and then come home and watched the movie The Passion of the Christ. Then of course there is Easter Sunday when we celebrate that Jesus has risen from the dead! Painting Easter eggs has nothing to do with Christ but it is still fun. Sara had a great time doing it too.
