I am in fabulous Boston!!! I just got done shooting a wedding on the 33rd floor of 60 State Street. The venue was amazing. I am so exhausted right now I can't even think of all the amazing shots I took.

I have to give a HUGE thanks to Gwyn for inviting me out to shoot for her. Right now I'm blogging from Rachel's apartment - THANKS for letting us crash in your room Rachel!

Tomorrow we are off to South Station to shoot an e-session. After that we are planning on exploring the North end. I'll keep you updated!!!

p.s. to all the photographers that view this blog - the shot above is completely sooc... I rocked it.

{Merry Christmas from my family}

{Baby Olive}

Baby Olive is born! I had the honor of photographing another of the Fischer's births. This is their second little girl. Katie and Jav had both of their births in the confert of their home with a midwife. I have now worked with this midwife 3 times and she does an amazing job! I have had 2 babies in the hospital and after working with their midwife I walked away more educated. It was really fun to also see the whole family there and their excitement. Congratulations again Fischer family and thank you for letting me be part of the birth of Olive! If you want to know more about birth photography please contact me.

{Rachel and Adam}

I really enjoyed watching Adam and Rachel together, they had that butterfly kind of love for each other. It figures since after 2 weeks of dating they were ready to be married.
TRAIN!!! After we took a few photos on the train tracks Adam saw a train in the distance coming and he got nervous that we might get hit. He then just started yelling TRAIN. Every time I look at this photo it makes me laugh.

During the ceremony at one point Adam just couldn't stop laugh, even after Rachel tried to hush him. By the look on his face something must have been really funny.

Congratulations again Rachel and Adam, I'm sure you will have a lifetime of love together.

{Jackie and Bob}

Jackie and Bob have one of the most beautiful stories I have heard in a long time. The short version is that they both lost their first spouse and then met each other in the cemetery saying good-bye. And then a new love started! As she told me the story I had to hold back the tears. It is a true testament to the power of love. It also goes to show that God has not forgotten us and He does turn bad into good. Congratulations Jackie and Bob and thank you for sharing your love with me.

They got married on one of the snowiest days of the year so far. It was so beautiful out!

This is definitely one of the challenges of the day... getting all the kids in the photo and happy all at the same time. I tried all my tricks on the little guy on the left but he was not going for anything. I still like this photo though and it makes me laugh thinking about the whole experience.

2007 - Thank You!

This time in a new mother's life is so amazing. There are so many new feelings, emotions as well as the obvious physical changes ;-) I was honored to do Jocelyn and Josh's portrait. The little baby inside is a true miracle and will be loved so much by his or her parents.
