Hilary and Tim are getting married next fall. Their wedding is going to be held in Green Lake, Wisconsin at the Heidle House. I did their engagement photos at their wedding/reception location. This image was taken at the Evensong Spa at the resort. The staff was sooooo kind to let us have the run of the place. They even let us in some of the buildings that were locked up for the day.

Their wedding is going to be fabulous! They are having a lighting designer/wedding coordinator decorate the ground and reception hall.

It looks like I got so busy I forgot to come back to this post and write anything. Well I guess it is better to be late then to never do it. I had so much fun with this family. Emily (the one in the strips) owns at last images and she is part of the Minneapolis Photo Coop, which is my studio. I loved that this family was pretty much game for anything. We even went outside in the cold. Thank you again Nelsons for letting me take your first family photo as adults.

These girls are so cool and CUTE!!! They are twins and you wouldn't even think they looked like sisters. I have done their Christmas photo for three years now... It is so neat seeing them grow up!

This year's session was done on a frigid, sleet filled day. The girls and their mom and dad were troopers! I know it took me a long time to warm up after the shoot... The shots turned out great! They will have a hard time deciding on their favorite!

East Coast - Here I come!

I am so excited! I just booked my trip to Boston to second shoot a wedding for Gwyneth Colleen Photography. This opportunity is amazing. The wedding is going to be held here and overlooks Quincy Market which will still be decorated for Christmas. I hope to have many wonderful shots of my trip and the wedding.

I have two more upcoming trips. In February I will be flying to San Fransisco to second/third/fourth shoot a photographer friend's wedding. She invited numerous photographers as guests/shooters - this trip will be amazing too!

In March I will be headed off to Las Vegas for the annual WPPI convention. I am thrilled to get into a two day seminar with Mike Colon. I will be 1 of 20 people in the class. The following week will be about getting new ideas on photography and products to better service you in 2008!

We bared the chilly muggy weather and got some great photos. Adam and Jenna with be married next fall at the Lafayette. I am really looking forward to it. I think it is going to be a very classy wedding. Congrats again Jenna and Adam and I hope you enjoy your engagement photos.

In the beginning of November I got to photograph two cute little boys... at the end of the session they were jumping in puddles and ended up getting all wet.

This photo incorporates a texture that justs adds an element of interest to the photo. I also applied a "tea stained" effect to the overall look.

Adam is an old high school friend of my husband. I was thrilled when they asked me to photographer their wedding! I know the wedding is going to be just as much fun as their engagement photo. I took them around the St. Anthony Main area. Congrats and I'm really looking forward to your wedding in a few weeks.

Kati and Cory came to me a few weeks ago looking for a photographer for their spring wedding. I am so glad that we were able to get their engagement photos done outdoors - thanks to mild weather! They are such a cute and funky couple and I love the way their engagement shots turned out at Smith Park in Menasha, Wisconsin.

{Elizabeth and Jason engaged}

I had a really fun time meeting Elizabeth and Jason and taking their engagement photos. Elizabeth's mom is working hard helping plan their wedding while they live in LA. We met in downtown Excelsior for their photos. I bring my daughter to school there so I've been eyeing some good spots. I love what we found! I also loved this couple, they are just beautiful together. Their meeting story is so cute too. The shot story is that Jason is an eye doctor and he was doing Elizabeth's follow up appointments. I look forward to getting to know the two of you even more. Thank you again Elizabeth and Jason for the great shoot and for allowing me to be part of your up coming wedding.
